WHITE HOUSE FARM

The beautiful and historic White House Farm sits on 270 acres with numerous features such as high bluffs, karst ponds, limestone outcroppings, active corn, soybean and hay fields, 52 acres of riparian buffer with warm season grasses (and a few exotic invasive species), and almost a mile of river frontage along the Shenandoah River.

We are available to host student groups by appointment, from young children to adults, who are interested in native plants, trees, water quality, history, agricultural practices, soil, and other aspects of our local ecology. As a nonprofit organization with a mission to share information, educational group visits to the farm are free. Contact us today to schedule your visit.
